Police Search for Vehicle That Struck Pedestrian in Bay Shore

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Third Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the driver of a vehicle that fled the scene after hitting a pedestrian in Bay Shore last month. 

A 16-year-old female was crossing Manor Lane when she was struck by a white pickup  truck turning from westbound Bay Shore Road to southbound Manor Lane on September 20 at approximately 8:05 p.m. The vehicle is believed to be a 2020-2024 GMC 2500 or  3500 pickup truck. The victim was transported to South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore for treatment of minor injuries.
