A pedestrian died from his injuries after being struck by a car while crossing the street in Roosevelt last week.
On November 3 at 9:15 p.m., Nathaniel Adams, 98, of Roosevelt. was crossing Nassau Road in the vicinity of West Fulton Avenue when he was struck by a 2005 Chrysler being operated by a 25-year-old male. The pedestrian suffered serious injuries and was transported to an area hospital. where he was listed in critical condition. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene.
On November 10, Adams succumbed to his injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
