A Manorville man was killed after being struck by a car while crossing Route 111.
On April 23, Thomas Regan, 64, was crossing the roadway just north of Chapman Boulevard at about 5:40 a.m. when he was hit by a northbound 2024 Porsche, according to Suffolk County Police Seventh Squad detectives.
Regan was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Porsche, Robert Ziemer, 58, of East Hampton, was not injured, according to police.
The vehicle was impounded for a safety check as part of the investigation.
Detectives are asking anyone with information about the crash to contact the Seventh Squad.
