
Suffolk County Police Sixth Squad detectives are investigating a motor vehicle crash that killed a pedestrian in Farmingville.
Nicole Tumilowicz was driving a 2020 Toyota eastbound on Horseblock Road on September 10 when her vehicle struck a pedestrian in the roadway in front of 900 Horseblock Road at 3:54 p.m.
The pedestrian, who has yet to be identified by police, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Tumilowicz, 48, of Medford, was not injured.
The Toyota was impounded for a safety check. Detectives are asking anyone with information on the crash to call the Sixth Squad at 631-854-8652.
