Nassau County Homicide Squad detectives are investigating an incident in Long Beach, where a pedestrian was hit by an electric bicycle.
On April 11 at 9:01 p.m., a 68-year-old male pedestrian was walking westbound on East Park Avenue when he was struck by an E-Bike, operated by a 47-year-old male traveling southbound on Riverside Boulevard. The pedestrian suffered severe trauma and was transported to a local area hospital, where he is listed in critical condition. The E-Bike driver remained at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
