A pedestrian has died after being hit by a car in North Lawrence.
On December 23 at 5:09 a.m., a man was crossing Nassau Expressway at the intersection of Bay Boulevard when he was struck by a 2024 white Jeep Grand Cherokee being driven by a 34-year-old male traveling northbound on Nassau Expressway. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene by a Nassau County Police medic. The driver remained on scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
