One person is dead and two people are injured following a three-car crash that occurred in Woodmere.
On December 29 at 9:27 a.m., a 76-year-old man was traveling westbound on West Broadway in a 2015 black Nissan Rogue when he was struck by a 2025 black BMW convertible traveling eastbound and being operated by a 17-year-old male. The BMW then struck a 2025 red Mazda driven by a 67-year-old woman, who was also traveling westbound on West Broadway.
The driver of the Nissan — who was the sole occupant of the Nissan — was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead by hospital staff. The operator of the BMW and his 16-year-old passenger were both transported to a local hospital for minor injuries. There were no other injuries reported on scene.
All operators remained at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
