A 30-year-old year old motorcyclist was killed in a crash that occurred in Elmont.
On July 22 at 6:22 p.m., a 25-year old man operating a 2025 white Genesis was traveling northbound on Heathcote Road when he was involved in a collision with a 2022 Zhng motorcycle traveling westbound on 106th Avenue.
The victim has been identified as Isauro Carrillo, of Elmont. Carrillo was transported by a Nassau County Police Ambulance to a local area hospital where he was pronounced dead by a hospital physician. The operator of the Genesis remained at the scene where no other injuries were reported.
The investigation is ongoing.
