A motorcyclist is dead after colliding with a school bus in Hicksville.
On January 6 at 7:26 a.m., a 21-year-old male was operating a 2022 Kawasaki motorcycle eastbound on Old Country Road, where he collided with a 2018 yellow school bus being operated by a 66-year-old male, transporting twenty-eight students. The operator of the motorcycle was transported to a local area hospital, where he was pronounced dead by a hospital physician.
No other injuries were reported.
Nassau County police later identified the motorcyclist as Antonio Bosotina, 21, of East Meadow.
The investigation is ongoing.
