A motorcyclist is in critical condition following a serious crash in West Hempstead.
On July 16 at 7:53 a.m., a 32-year-old man riding a 2009 Yamaha motorcycle was traveling southbound on Nassau Boulevard when a 2024 BMW, driven by a 40-year-old woman, made a left turn onto Nassau Boulevard from Guilford Court and struck the motorcycle.
The male victim was treated at the scene and transported by Nassau County Police Ambulance to a nearby hospital, where he remains in critical condition. No other injuries were reported.
The investigation is ongoing.
