A motorcycle rider is in the hospital after being hit by a mail truck in Oceanside.
On October 9 at 9:36 a.m., a 36-year-old male operating a 2013 Suzuki motorcycle was traveling westbound on Atlantic Avenue in the vicinity of Court Street when he was struck by a U.S. Postal Service van being operated by a 25-year-old male who was making a lefthand turn to head eastbound on Atlantic Avenue.
The operator of the motorcycle suffered serious injuries and was transported to a local area hospital. He is currently in critical but stable condition.
