Suffolk County officers are investigating a single-vehicle collision that severely injured a man in Yaphank.
On March 19 at approximately 10:27 p.m., William Green, 55, was driving a 2023 Dodge Hornet heading southwest on Patchogue Yaphank Road, when the car left the road at the intersection of Mill Road, overturned, and then hit a telephone pole.
Green, of Holbrook, was brought to NYU Langone Hospital – Suffolk in Patchogue in critical condition.
The car was impounded for a safety check.
