A man was fatally struck by three vehicles as he was walking along the service road of the Long Island Expressway in Jericho.
On November 19 at 6:06 a.m., a 43-year-old male was walking eastbound on the north service road of the Long Island Expressway in the vicinity of Open Street when he was struck by a 2023 Mazda being driven by a 79-year-old male. He was then struck by a 2021 Alfa Romeo being operated by a 48-year-old male and a 2014 Mazda being operated by a 40-year-old female.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. All drivers remained at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
