A man who was struck by an electric bicycle (E-Bike) died of his injuries a day after he was brought to the hospital.
According to Detectives, a 68-year-old male pedestrian was walking westbound on East Park Avenue in Long Beach, when he was struck by an E-Bike, operated by a 47-year-old male traveling southbound on Riverside Boulevard. The pedestrian suffered severe trauma and was transported to a local area hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The operator of the E-Bike remained at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
