A Farmingville man has been arrested for allegedly causing a crash in Hicksville that killed two of his passengers.

According to Nassau County Homicide detectives, Frank Labidi was operating a 2026 White BMW, westbound on Old Country Road in the vicinity of Sterling Place where he allegedly lost control of his vehicle, crossed over into oncoming traffic and struck a tree, then a building. The two 19-year-old female passengers — Alexa Duryea and Lindsey Parke, both of Levittown — suffered severe trauma and were pronounced dead at the scene. Labidi was transported to a local area hospital for evaluation and treatment.

On January 30, Labidi was arrested for the above incident. He was charged with two counts of Manslaughter in the Second Degree and two counts of Assault in the Second Degree. He was arraigned the same day at First District Court in Hempstead.
