An e-bike rider died after being hit by a car in North Bellmore.
On November 6 at 7:05 a.m., a 14-year-old boy was operating an E-Bike westbound on Alice Avenue crossing Bellmore Avenue when he was struck by a 2025 Chevy SUV operated by a 45-year-old female traveling southbound on Bellmore Avenue.
The E-Bike operator suffered severe body trauma and was transported by a Nassau County ambulance to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead by a hospital physician. The operator of the Chevy remained at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
