Nassau County police are looking for a driver who hit another car in Uniondale, then fled the scene.
On November 15 at 8 p.m., an unknown male was operating a red Chrysler Town & Country, bearing a Texas registration, on Nassau Road when he struck the rear of a parked white Toyota Avalon in front of 785 Nassau Road, occupied by a female victim, 81. The unknown subject then fled the scene and, a short time later, abandoned the vehicle. The victim was transported to a local area hospital for evaluation and treatment.
There is no further description of the subject at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
