Suffolk County Police Fifth Squad detectives are investigating a fatal motor vehicle crash in Brookhaven.
On February 21, Justin Digiovanna was driving a 2021 Mazda CX-5 eastbound on Sunrise Highway at Horseblock Road when his vehicle left the road and crashed into a wooded area on the southbound side at approximately 3:50 a.m.
Digiovanna, 23, of Shirley, was transported by South Country Ambulance to NYU Langone Hospital Suffolk where he was pronounced dead.
The vehicle was impounded for a safety check. Detectives are asking anyone with information on the crash to call the Fifth Squad at 631-854-8552.
