
A man from upstate New York has been arrested for murder after allegedly killing a motorcycle rider during a road rage incident in North Hills.
On April 25 at 2:14 p.m., two drivers were involved in a road rage incident on the South Service Road in the vicinity of New Hyde Park Road. Brian Noll was operating a 2022 Ford pickup truck traveling eastbound on the South Service Road of the LIE when an altercation ensued with a 29-year-old man operating a 2016 Kawasaki motorcycle traveling in the same direction. During the course of the altercation, Noll allegedly swerved his vehicle intentionally into the Kawasaki, pinning the victim against the guardrail. As a result, the motorcyclist suffered severe trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Noll, 64, of 4408 Waughbrook Road, Scio, New York, was arrested. A 66-year-old female, who was seated in the passenger seat, was not injured.
Police charged Noll with second-degree murder. He is scheduled to be arraigned on April 26 at First District Court in Hempstead.
