A motorcyclist is dead after colliding with a vehicle in Oyster Bay Cove.
According to Nassau County Homicide detectives, on September 15, a 2022 Honda motorcycle being operated by a 21-year-old male was traveling southbound on Berry Hill Road in the vicinity of Northern Boulevard. The motorcycle entered the northbound lanes while still traveling southbound and collided with a 2023 Kia Forte being operated by a 62-year-old male at 3:40 p.m.
The 21-year-old suffered serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Kia remained at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
The investigation is ongoing.
