
One person is dead and two people are injured following a collision between a vehicle and a motorcycle in North Hills.
According to Nassau County Homicide Squad detectives, on July 12 at 12:49 p.m., a 51-year-old male operating a 2025 Kia Sportage, traveling eastbound on the South Service Road was involved in a collision with a 2010 Harley Davidson motorcycle being operated by a 63-year-old male with a 58-year-old female passenger, also traveling eastbound.
As a result of the collision, all three individuals were transported to a nearby hospital. The driver of the Sportage and the motorcycle operator sustained minor injuries. The woman suffered severe trauma and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The investigation is ongoing.
