A Brentwood man was indicted for aggravated vehicular assault and other charges for a December 2025 DWI crash in Atlantic Beach that seriously injured a mother and her 11-year-old son who was airlifted from the crash and placed in a medically induced coma for nearly two weeks.
On December 10, 2025, at approximately 5:30 p.m., the victims, a 52-year-old father, 49-year-old mother, and 11-year-old son were driving to a restaurant in Atlantic Beach westbound on Beech Street. At the same time, Job Guiliani was leaving a holiday party at a local beach club, made a right turn onto Beech Street, drove on the wrong side of the road heading eastbound, and crashed head-on into the family’s vehicle in the left westbound lane.
The child suffered serious injuries, and he and his mother were airlifted to Cohen’s Children’s Hospital from the scene of the crash.
The 11-year-old child sustained a lacerated liver, lacerated spleen, lost function to one kidney, suffered a leg fracture and a rib fracture and was placed in a medically induced coma for nearly two weeks. He remains hospitalized.
The 49-year-old female victim suffered multiple spinal fractures and a rib fracture and was hospitalized for more than a week.
The 52-year-old male victim was transported to Mount Sinai South Nassau University Hospital for pain in his wrist and knee.
Guiliani was also transported to Mount Sinai South Nassau University Hospital for treatment of injuries.
Blood drawn from Guiliani at the hospital revealed his blood alcohol concentration was .10%. Testing also revealed the presence of active Delta-9-THC in the defendant’s blood approximately 40 minutes after the crash.
Giuliani was arrested on December 10, 2025, by the Nassau County Police Department’s Fourth Precinct Squad.
Job Giuliani, 30, was arraigned today before Judge Colin O’Donnell on grand jury indictment charges of two counts of Aggravated Vehicular Assault (a Class C felony); two counts of Vehicular Assault in the Second Degree (a Class E felony); two counts of Assault in the Second Degree (a Class D violent felony); Driving While Intoxicated Per Se, Driving While Intoxicated and Driving While Ability Impaired by the Combined Influence of Alcohol and a Drug (all unclassified misdemeanors); and Reckless Driving.
The defendant pleaded not guilty and bail was continued at $500,000 cash, $1 million bond, and $1.5 million partially secured bond. He is due back in court on March 5, 2026. If convicted, he faces up to seven to 15 years in prison.
“A family heading out for a quiet dinner together instead ended up in the hospital with their 11-year-old son fighting for his life because this defendant left a party, allegedly drunk and high, and drove into oncoming traffic,” said Nassau County District Attorney Anne Donnelly. “The boy spent nearly two weeks in a medically induced coma healing from his multiple internal injuries and remains in the hospital recovering more than a month later. His mother was hospitalized for eight days recovering from fractures to her spine and rib.”
“There is always another way to get to and from a party and there is never an excuse for driving drugged or drunk,” Donnelly continued. “This defendant destroyed a family’s sense of security with his alleged selfish actions and now faces significant prison time.”
