To the Editor:
I’m not seeing the left-wing bias that so concerns you “More Rants from Steve Levy: LaLota Was Right to Vote for Defunding NPR, PBS,” June 16, 2025).
Is it coming from shows like NOVA or Nature? Masterpiece Theatre? Austin City Limits? The children’s shows? Was Mr. Rogers a closeted socialist? Firing Line (both old and new versions)? Again, was William F. Buckley a Marxist plant? Same with Herbert Hoover’s granddaughter, the current host? Was Wall Street Week radical left television? How about the Ken Burns films on the Civil War, baseball, jazz, the Brooklyn Bridge, and the War somehow subversive? I am sure I could go on.
I frankly do not know what you are talking about. It seems like you see a socialist, Marxist, lefty under every rock. Defunding NPR/PBS is a bad idea and wrong. I am very disappointed in the vote of my congressman from the 1st District.
