I disagree [with your op-ed] (“The Trump-Zelenskyy Blowup Is More Complicated Than People Think,” March 3). Trump has supported Putin from the start. If Trump had come in with full support for Ukraine initially, I believe the bully, Putin, would have backed away. It should have been done when he invaded Crimea. If we went with Trump and Putin’s plan to give up more territory, Putin will be back sooner rather than later. This is a simple lesson from World War II history.
All this talk of how Zelenskyy disrespected Trump — we have to remember Trump’s behavior is far from respectful to almost everyone, except Putin and Xi. And, by far, my least concern is how a president dresses, particularly one whose country has been invaded by an authoritarian tyrant. And what about the non-elected co-president,Musk-rat?

This was a staged event. How was Moscow media allowed into the White House? (“The Trump-Zelenskyy Blowup Is More Complicated Than People Think,” March 3).
Zelenskyy is a hero. Shame on that broadcast. All across the U.S., Americans are ashamed of how Zelenskyy was unfairly treated. People are standing up for democracy and the Ukraine! The Hofstra event was just a small example.
