To the Editor:
John Eastman is a disgraced and disbarred attorney who attempted to subvert the democratic process under color of law (“Dems: Blakeman Met with ‘Architect of January 6,’” March 6, 2026).
For Bruce Blakeman to declare that he didn’t know Eastman is at best disingenuous and most likely an outright lie.
But what is more disturbing is that the Republican party continues to embrace and honor people like Eastman and elected Republican officials’ continued whitewashing of the events of January 6, 2021 and their lead-up.
