Once again, Newton Shows is partnering with the Merrick Chamber of Commerce to present its 27th annual Kids Fest community carnival from Friday to Sunday, April 26-28.
Every year, the Kids Fest carnival helps raise money to provide scholarships to students with special needs from the three high schools in the Bellmore-Merrick School District. The proceeds also help with the chamber’s networking meeting and lighting for their holiday festival.
“It’s great working with Newton Shows,” said Ira Reiter, President, Merrick Chamber of Commerce. “It’s so easy to work with them. They are always a phone call away.”
The complete dates and times for the event are as follows:
- Friday, April 26 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
- Saturday, April 27 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Sunday, April 28 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The 27th Annual Kids Fest will feature extraordinary rides, games and food. In addition, there will be a children’s magic and illusion show on Saturday and Sunday.
The carnival will be held at Merrick Avenue between Sunrise Highway and Loines Avenue in Merrick. Parking and admission are free.
