Gershow Recycling took part in the Tesla Science Expo, which took place at the Tesla Science Center at Wardenclyffe (TSCW) in Shoreham on July 13. The company was on hand to encourage attendees to recycle and explain to them how different types of scrap products — such as cars, appliances, and building materials — are recycled.
Since 2013, Gershow has provided the use of its scrap metal containers for the TSCW as part of its efforts to help the non-profit organization fund the renovation of Wardenclyffe, which is the site of the only remaining laboratory of the famous inventor, Nikola Tesla. In addition, Gershow has sponsored and participated in “Metal for Tesla,” a scrap metal fundraising event to benefit TSCW.
