Nassau County police are still investigating an accident in which an eleven-year-old boy was hit by a vehicle while crossing the street.
A 34-year-old male operating a Honda Accord was traveling westbound on Thoma Place on July 15 at 4 p.m., where he struck an eleven-year-old-boy, attempting to cross the street. The boy suffered a leg injury and was transported via Nassau County Police helicopter to Cohen Children’s Medical Center for evaluation and treatment of his injuries.
The driver remained at the scene. No criminal activity is suspected at this time.
The investigation is ongoing.
