Suffolk County police identified a man who was involved in a motor vehicle crash in Blue Point.
Alex Kuehn, 37, of Patchogue, was driving a 2021 Jeep Wrangler eastbound on Montauk Highway on May 19 when it veered off the roadway and struck a curb at Division Avenue at approximately 9 p.m. The vehicle continued eastbound, struck a telephone pole, and overturned multiple times.
Kuehn was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital with serious injuries. The vehicle was impounded for a safety check.
