On April 11, Brookhaven Town Supervisor Dan Panico spoke at the monthly meeting of the Friends of Sachem Public Library in Holbrook.

During the meeting, Panico discussed a variety of important local issues, including land use and the ongoing problem of illegal dumping. His talk provided valuable insights into these timely subjects and he actively engaged with the audience, answering questions and sharing information on the town’s efforts to address these challenges.

The Sachem Public Library, with a history dating back to its original building in 1914 and a new facility opened in 1917 on Hawkins Avenue in Lake Ronkonkoma, serves as a vital community resource. The original building still stands today and is now home to the Lake Ronkonkoma Historical Society.
