Nassau County Legislator Scott M. Davis joined with the Hempstead community on January 17 to celebrate the grand opening of MiniMe Kiddy Day Care’s brand-new 7,000 square-foot space in Hempstead.
Launched eight years ago by co-founder/director and Hempstead Village Trustee Clarion Griffith, MiniMe Kiddy Day Care has expanded its services to offer daycare through midnight to accommodate the schedules of working parents. They also provide college prep, workforce development, and counseling resources for teens through their nonprofit Children and Youth Hub Station.
“Since opening its doors eight years ago, MiniMe Kiddy Day Care has been a consistent and reliable provider of tremendously valuable child care services, and their professionalism and excellence gives parents peace of mind on a daily basis,” Legislator Davis said. “The opening of this sprawling new facility marks an exciting new chapter of their life in the Hempstead business community, and it was a pleasure to be with Clariona and her entire team as they celebrated this important milestone.
