Brookhaven Celebrates Juneteenth at Historic Longwood Estate

The Town of Brookhaven’s Black History Commission held its annual Juneteenth celebration at the historic Longwood Estate in Ridge On June 17. The celebration was held in recognition of the 158th anniversary of the end of slavery in the United States. The celebration featured games and activities for children, music, dancing, and a BBQ picnic.
