LIMEHOF Announces June Lineup
The Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame (LIMEHOF) has announced its lineup for upcoming events scheduled for the month of June. These events will include fundraisers, book launches, live performances and concerts.
Kicking off this month’s events is a performance by Martini Garden on June 4. Martini Garden is a unique band influenced by rock and roll, electronic, R&B, jazz and country. They have released two studio albums and a Christmas-themed EP with a third studio album on the way.
On June 10, the Right Track Inn Reunion Fundraiser Concert in Amittyville’s Warehouse to Benefit LIMEHOF will take place. This will be a reunion performance of the popular 1980s Long Island rock bands Freelance Vandals, SoreThumb, and Broken Arrow, all of whom were staples of the Right Track Inn. The Warehouse is located at 203 Broadway in Amityville.
On June 17, Dina Santorelli will be holding the launch for her new book The Reformed Man. The event will include a book signing and Q&A session. Tickets are $30 and include a tour of LIMEHOF.
On June 18, there will be a performance from Rib & the Bones. Based in Oneonta, New York, Rib & The Bones was formed by a group of music students attending SUNY Oneonta. The band has opened up for nationally touring artist Flo Rida, and are currently on a tour of New York State. The band takes influences from popular rock acts such as The Strokes, Peach Pit, and Cage the Elephant.
Finally, Mike Nugent will perform on June 25. Mike Nugent has been involved in multiple music acts since the early 1970s and has a discography of tracks that he has played instruments on as well as produced. His latest album was released last autumn, and he has also recently assembled a new group called the Blue Moon Band.
