Suffolk County Police arrested a man for allegedly killing his grandmother’s fiancé.
Suffolk County Police responded to a 911 call regarding a stabbing that occurred inside a trailer, parked in the driveway of 8 Catherine St. in East Northport, on March 30 at 3:42 a.m. Joseph Falvo had been stabbed several times in the living room of the trailer, allegedly by his fiancée’s grandson, Noel Bermudez-Chin.
Falvo, 61, was transported to Huntington Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Bermudez-Chin, 18, was located on Laurel Hill Road in Northport a short time later. He was charged with Murder in the Second Degree. He was held overnight at the Third Precinct and will be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on March 30.
