Suffolk County Police arrested a Holtsville man after he allegedly robbed a woman at knifepoint in Selden.
On March 3, Mitchell Taylor entered the building located at 533 College Road in Selden allegedly armed with a knife, approached a 29-year-old woman, and allegedly demanded her wallet and jacket at approximately 8:40 p.m. The woman complied and the man fled the scene. The woman was not injured.
Following an investigation, Sixth Squad detectives identified Taylor and arrested him at his home on March 4 at 1:05 a.m. Taylor, 32, was charged with Robbery in the First Degree. He was held overnight at the Sixth Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on March 4.
