Crime Alert: Wanted for Robbery in Oceanside

Nassau County officers from the Fourth Squad are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating a man who allegedly robbed a restaurant in Oceanside.

Robbery that occurred on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at 10:48 a.m. in Oceanside.

On February 22 at 10:48 a.m., an unknown male entered Sobol, located at 3384 Long Beach Road, and allegedly demanded money from an employee. The victim, in fear for her safety, complied with the demand. The suspect then exited the store with $210 in cash and proceeded northbound on Long Beach Road on foot.

The suspect is described as a white male, about 5’7” tall, 30-40 years of age, with brown hair and a beard. He was wearing a gray jacket, gray pants, white shoes, and a beanie.
