Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Second Precinct Crime Section officers are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating the man who allegedly assaulted an employee in a Commack convenience store earlier this year.
An employee of QuickChek, located at 6233 Jericho Turnpike in Commack, reported to police he was assaulted by a man on January 5 at 5:24 a.m. The man then allegedly stole assorted groceries from the store. The victim took himself to an urgent care center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
