The Huntington Town Board held a special ceremony before the start of the meeting on February 10 by honoring Steve Rossetti, Gershow Recycling’s vice president of special projects, with a proclamation for playing a lead role in Gershow’s community outreach efforts. This includes supporting the town’s M.A.D.D. (Mothers Against Drunk Driving) Holiday Display, the Chuck Varese Vehicle Extrication Tournament and the Gershow Recycling Environmental Conservation Scholarship program with the South Huntington School District.

Rossetti has been with Gershow since 2008. A town resident since 1995, he has been involved in numerous civic and nonprofit boards, offering his time, experience and leadership in support of economic development and youth-focused organizations.
