Two people are dead and one person is injured in a single-vehicle crash in Hicksville.
On January 23 at 11:30 p.m., a 23-year-old male was driving a 2026 White BMW westbound on Old Country Road in the vicinity of Sterling Place where he lost control of his vehicle, crossed over into oncoming traffic, struck a tree and then a building.
The two 19-year-old female passengers suffered severe trauma and were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the vehicle was transported to a local area hospital for evaluation and treatment.
The investigation is ongoing.
