Suffolk County Police Second Squad Detectives are investigating a motor vehicle crash that seriously injured a man in Brentwood.
Justin Reynoso was driving a 2023 Acura southbound on Route 111 when his vehicle struck the rear of a 2018 Dodge Durango on January 16 at 3:56 a.m. Reynoso’s vehicle then struck a northbound 2019 Dodge pickup, causing the 2019 Dodge pickup to overturn. Reynoso’s vehicle then left the roadway and struck a fence.
The driver of the pickup, Wilson Castillo, 25, of Brentwood, was transported to South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore with minor injuries. Reynoso, 22, of Brentwood, was transported to South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore with serious injuries. The driver of the 2018 Dodge Durango, Sandra Barahona, 47, of Brentwood, was not injured.
The 2019 Dodge and 2023 Acura were impounded for safety checks. Detectives are asking anyone with information to contact the Third Squad at 631-854-8352.
