A Wantagh man was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance.
On January 7 at 9:44 a.m., the Nassau County Probation Department, along with the Nassau County Police Department, responded to a Darby Road residence for an investigation. While inside the residence, approximately 85 grams of what is believed to be crystal methamphetamine, 15 grams of a substance believed to be ketamine, various quantities of methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA), gamma-hydroxybutyrate (GHB), alprazolam and methamphetamine paraphernalia were recovered inside of the home.
Daniel Posner, 53, of 1382 Darby Road was arrested at the scene without incident. The Town of Hempstead Buildings Department secured the residence and property.
Posner is being charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Fourth Degree and eight counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled substance in the Seventh Degree. He was arraigned on January 8 at First District Court in Hempstead.
