Suffolk County Police First Squad detectives are investigating an incident in which a pedestrian in East Farmingdale was hit and killed by a car.
A man was crossing Route 110, south of Price Parkway, in the southbound lanes, when he was struck by a 2015 Acura on December 19 at 5:04 a.m.
The man, who has not been identified by police, was transported to St. Joseph Hospital in Bethpage, where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the Acura, Clive Pryce, 54, was not injured.
The vehicle was impounded for a safety check. Anyone with information on the crash can call First Squad Detectives at 631-854-8152.
