An investigation is confirming that it was the ridiculously leftist woke policies of Gavin Newsom and the progressives in Los Angeles and all of California that helped inflame the huge wildfires that caused death and billions of dollars of destruction.
It appears that an initial fire was dampened by a local fire department. However, those same departments were prohibited by state park officials from going onto adjoining property and snuffing out the remaining burning embers that were popping up, according to court papers filed by attorneys representing the affected homeowners. This was done because woke state leaders were trying to protect a certain plant species.
Basically, they were putting the survival of a plant over the health and safety of their residents. This dereliction of duty comes on top of the fact that the policies of Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass led to a shortage of water in the reservoirs that were needed for fire protection.
The water was diverted into the ocean to protect certain small animals that they thought were endangered. Once again, plants and small animals get preference in California’s woke world over their own human beings.
Those who voted for these idiots into office have very few people to blame other than themselves.
