Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are investigating a single-vehicle crash that seriously injured a man in Elwood.
Omar Romero-Bulnes was driving a 2021 Dodge pickup truck southbound on Austin Lane on December 5, when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree in front of 7 Austin Lane, at approximately 9 p.m.
Romero-Bulnes, 36, of Carle Place, was transported to Huntington Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
The vehicle was impounded for a safety check. Detectives are asking anyone with information on this crash to call the Second Squad at 631-854-8252.
