3 Arrested for Allegedly Selling Vape Products to Minors

Suffolk County Police arrested three men for allegedly selling tobacco and vape products to people under the age of 21 during compliance checks at multiple businesses in the Fifth Precinct. 

In response to community complaints, Fifth Precinct Investigative Unit officers checked four businesses for compliance with laws related to the sale of tobacco products and arrested employees at three of the  stores.  

The following people were charged with Unlawfully Dealing with a Child in the Second Degree, a misdemeanor:  

  • Cuma Teber, 27, of Port Jefferson Station, an employee of Husco Gas Station, located at 700 South Country Road, East Patchogue 
  • Heriberto Velez-Sotero, 31, of Islandia, an employee of Mo’s My Smoke Shop, located at 201 Route 112, Patchogue 
  • Davin Garrison, 40, of Medford, an employee of WildBoyz Smoke Shop, located at 295 Route 112, Patchogue 

All three men were issued Desk Appearance Tickets and are scheduled to appear at First District Court in Central Islip on December 5.
