4 Arrested for Burglary

Four suspects were arrested for their alleged roles in multiple burglaries.

According to Nassau County Major Case Squad Detectives, the defendants allegedly unlawfully entered various residences in Jericho and Manhasset. Once inside, the subjects allegedly removed jewelry, designer handbags, assorted credit cards and cash. After an extensive investigation was conducted the defendants were located and placed under arrest on November 13 without incident.

Irving Brenor, 18, of 92-52 Vanderveer Street, Queens Village, was charged with Robbery in the First Degree, Burglary in the First Degree, two counts of Robbery in the Second Degree, Burglary in the Second Degree and Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree.

Jayson Jaya, 20, of 41-25 Case Street, Elmhurst, was charged with Robbery in the First Degree, Burglary in the First Degree and Robbery in the Second Degree.

Giam Leal-Cardenas, 19, of 21-16 124th Street, College Point, was charged with Burglary in the Second Degree, Robbery in the Second Degree and Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree. They were arraigned on November 14 at First District Court in Hempstead.

A Juvenile Defendant, 17, is charged with Burglary in the Second Degree, Robbery in the Second Degree and Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree. He was arraigned on November 13 at First District Court, Youth Offender Part, in Hempstead. His name is not being released because of his age.
