A Hicksville man was arrested after he allegedly pointed a gun at two people in Brookville.
On November 8 at 10:38 a.m., officers received a call for a motor vehicle disturbance on Cedar Swamp Road in the vicinity of Country Lane. It was determined that, during the disturbance, a male driving a Mitsubishi allegedly displayed a firearm at two victims and fled from the scene. A Brookville Police Department Officer located the vehicle shortly afterwards. The driver, Hasauni Rucker, 32, of 193 Spindle Road, was arrested without incident. A Glock handgun was reportedly recovered at the scene.
Police charged Rucker with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree, two counts of Menacing in the Second Degree and multiple Vehicle and Traffic Law violations. He was scheduled to be arraigned on November 9 at First District Court in Hempstead.
