A person was killed after losing control of his car and hitting a utility pole.
On November 8 at 5:12 a.m., a 42-year-old male was operating a 2025 Mazda traveling northbound on Grand Avenue in Baldwin. He lost control of his vehicle and struck a utility pole in the vicinity of Ethel T. Kloberg Drive.
The operator, and sole occupant of the vehicle, suffered serious injuries and was transported to a local area hospital, where he was pronounced dead by a hospital physician.
The investigation is ongoing.
