A pedestrian was critically injured after being struck by a car while crossing the street in Roosevelt.
On November 3 at 9:15 p.m., a 98 year old male was crossing Nassau Road in the vicinity of West Fulton Avenue when he was struck by a 2005 Chrysler being operated by a 25-year-old male. The pedestrian suffered serious injuries and was transported to an area hospital where he is listed in critical condition. The driver of the vehicle remained at scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
