Nassau County police responded and provided assistance to a woman in Seaford in delivering her baby.

On October 19 at 4:45 a.m., Seventh Precinct officers responded to 2000 Seamans Neck Road for a 35-year-old woman who had pulled over to the side of the road in her car and was in active labor. Nassau County Police medics Salvatore Ferro, Michael White and Police medic supervisor William Rudnick responded to the scene. The mother was placed in the back of a Nassau County Police Department ambulance, where they assisted her in delivering a baby girl.
